Members of the College Interact group organised a sponsored walk on Thursday 16 March.
Year 11 and 12 students enjoyed the opportunity to walk around the College grounds in the spring sunshine while raising funds for ‘Pretty n Pink’, a local charity which has been supporting breast cancer patients and their families since 2006.
Mrs Karen Hoy and Mrs Audra Wright from ‘Pretty n Pink’ joined students at the event and presented prizes at the end.
Many students wore pink to show their support for the charity and we were delighted to raise a grand total of £792.63 for the charity.
Thanks to all Year 11 and 12 students for their support and well done to the Interact Club members, aided by Mrs Kate Adams from Portadown Rotary and the College charity group, Lifeline, for organising this event.
