Jessica Anderson, Katie McCallen, Nathan Moore, Lisa Porter, James Shaw and Ellen Wilson (3 A* grades).
College Principal, Gillian Gibb, commented:
“On behalf of PC’s staff and Board of Governors, I wish to place on record our admiration for our Year 14 leavers, as well as our gratitude to all of those who have tirelessly supported them in securing success, particularly their teachers and families. The truly excellent outcomes achieved by our Year 14 students are largely attributable to their resilience, strong work ethic and natural talent. At the end of a challenging year, it is uplifting to see the overwhelming majority of our young people progress to university courses of their choice or highly coveted modern apprenticeships. The College community extends to the class of 2021 our warm congratulations and sincere best wishes for health, happiness and fulfilment beyond PC.
Similarly, our Year 13 cohort has secured an excellent set of results at AS Level, with a new College record of 46% of all results awarded at grade A. It is pleasing to record that 23 students secured a full suite of 4 A grades at AS Level. With 95% of all AS grades attained at A – C, our Year 13 students should be proud of their positive response to the challenges of the last months. Alongside the College community, I extend best wishes to them for the academic year ahead.”
