The Nerve Centre, Belfast is hosting a GCSE Moving Image Arts Information Session for Year 10 students via ‘Zoom’ on Tuesday 9th February from 2pm – 3pm.
Moving Image Arts (MIA) is an exciting GCSE option subject in Portadown College. Moving Image Arts is an ideal GCSE choice for students wishing to pursue a career in the creative industries. This includes Film, Television and Game Design.
This session on ‘Zoom’ will offer Year 10 students from across Northern Ireland the opportunity to speak to previous MIA students, who have also taken part in the ‘BFI Film Academy’ and the ‘Animation Academy’ in the Nerve centre, and to hear about their experiences of studying MIA. Year 10 students will be given the opportunity to ask questions which may help them make an informed decision, should they wish to be considered for studying this popular subject at GCSE.
Please see the Zoom link or the ‘Meeting ID’ and ‘Passcode’ detailed in the poster.
